Dr. Maria J. Szmidt completed her extensive medical training at the University of Southern California and Los Angeles County Hospital in Los Angeles.
She has served as clinical lecturer for internal medicine students and as preceptor fo nurse practitioner students.
Dr. Szmidt held the position of Medical Director at the ECS Family Health Center in Fallbrook from 1993-1998 before establishing her own family practice. She is currently affiliated with La Jolla Scripps Hospital.
She has been practicing medicine in San Diego County since 1993.
Dr. Szmidt has dedicated her practice to comprehensive primary family care, internal medicine and geriatric care.
Dr. Izabela Witczak specializes in internal medicine/primary care.
She served her residency at the New York Medical Center of Queens affiliated with the New York Presbyterian Hospital - Weill Medical College of Cornell University. She got certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in 2000. With a thorough background as a researcher and diagnostician in the field of pulmonory medicine, Dr, Witczak has focused on primary care over the past 15 years acquiring extensive experience as an internist/general physician.
She has been practicing in the greater San Diego area since 2001 and lives with her husband and three daughters in San Diego County.
Dr. Witczak is a Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine, a member of the American College of Physicians and a member of the San Diego County Medical Society.
